Regular staff can view their Leave Balance information after logging into Employee-Self-Service from the Wolverine Access gateway website.

Letter Section Description
A Last Accrual/Last Usage Posted
  • BWC (Regular Bi-Weekly) employees' leave accruals for the month are posted on a date near the first of the month. Leave usage is posted the week after a pay period ends.
  • MPP (Monthly Pre-Paid Hospital and Sponsored 12 Months Appts) employees' leave accruals for the month are posted at the beginning of the month in which they are due (e.g. July accrual is posted July 1). Leave Usage is posted at the end of the month in which it is used.
  • MOR (Monthly & U-Year Appts) employees' leave accruals are posted at the beginning of the month in which they are due (e.g. July accruals is posted July 1). Leave Usage is posted at the end of the month, one month after it is used (e.g. June usage is posted July 31).
B Sick Eligibility Date/Renewal Date You are eligible for 15 days of short-term sick time pay each year. The 15 days do not accrue but are renewed in the anniversary month of your employment.
  • Monthly employees renew on the first day of the month
  • Biweekly employees renew at the beginning of the pay period which includes the first day of the month.
C Extended Sick Renewal Year Regular staff member with two or more years of continuous service are eligible for extended sick time pay in each five calendar year period following the attainment of the service requirement.
  • Extended sick time benefits are renewed in full on the first of the month of the anniversary of employment following each successive five year period for monthly paid employees.
  • Extended sick time is renewed for bi-weekly employees at the beginning of the pay period which includes the first of the month.
D Plan Type This column identifies each of your leave accrual plans
E Plan Balance

This column lists balances for each of your leave accrual plans.

Two messages also appear here:
  • "Missing Time Report" indicates that the balances on file may not be correct because there is at least one missing time report. In this situation, balances will not appear.
  • "Near Max Vacation/PTO Balance" indicates that you are near the maximum balance permitted for your participation in the vacation or PTO plan.
